Congratulations to Design + Make students Rolando Madrigal Torres, Evgenia Spyridonos, En-Kai Kuo and Eleni McKirahan, for their success at the TTJ Awards 2018, winning the Innovative Timber University Research category for their work on Hooke Park’s Sawmill Shelter. The project provided the research vehicle for a study of small-section timber in tension configured with anticlastic curvature to resist snow and wind loads.
