Hooke Park has hosted the AA’s second annual Kingcombe Visiting School in which a group of international students completed the second phase of design and construction of a new boardwalk connecting to a small outdoor classroom at Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Kingcombe Centre. Led by Clementine Blakemore and Alex Thomas, the 9-day workshop used douglas fir and western red cedar from Hooke Park to form a new connection between the visitor centre’s buildings and the meadows beside the River Hooke.
